Guide for Updating Your Password on GameSafe

Overview:

You can update your password through the GameSafe dashboard by following these steps. The process is similar across web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), iOS, and Android devices.

Steps:

1. Login to GameSafe on Your Android Device:

Open the GameSafe app on your Android device and log in using your email and password.

2. Go to Settings:

Tap on the menu (usually represented by three lines or a gear icon) and select "Settings."

3. Update Password:

Tap on "Update Password" in the settings.

You will see the following fields:

Current Password

New Password

Confirm New Password

4. Enter Your Current Password:

Type your current password into the first field.

5. Enter a New Password:

Type your new password in the second field, ensuring it follows the password requirements:

8 characters or more.

At least one uppercase letter.

At least one lowercase letter.

A number or symbol.

6. Confirm the New Password:

Re-enter the new password in the third field to confirm.

7. Save the New Password:

Tap "Save" or "Update" to complete the process.

8. Success Message:

A confirmation message will appear if the password change is successful.

Troubleshooting Common Issues on Android:

Incorrect Current Password: Error: "Current password is incorrect." Solution: Re-enter your current password carefully. If you don’t remember it, use "Forgot Password?" to reset it via email.

Passwords Do Not Match: Error: "Passwords do not match." Solution: Double-check that both new password fields contain the exact same password.

New Password Too Weak: Error: "New password does not meet the criteria." Solution: Adjust the new password to meet the requirements (8 characters, one uppercase, one lowercase, and a number or symbol).
