Guide for Updating Your Password on GameSafe

Overview:

You can update your password through the GameSafe dashboard by following these steps. The process is similar across web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge), iOS, and Android devices.

Steps:

1. Login to GameSafe:

Go to the GameSafe Parent Dashboard.

Enter your credentials and log in.

2. Navigate to Settings:

Once logged in, locate the "Settings" tab on the sidebar or in the top menu.

Click on "Settings" to open the settings menu.

3. Update Password:

Under settings, click on "Update Password."

You will see three fields:

Current Password

New Password

Confirm New Password

4. Enter Your Current Password:

In the first field, enter your current password.

5. Enter a New Password:

In the second field, enter your new password. The new password must meet the following criteria:

At least 8 characters long.

Contains at least one uppercase letter.

Contains at least one lowercase letter.

Includes one number or symbol.

6. Confirm the New Password:

In the third field, re-enter the new password to confirm it.

Click "Save" or "Update" to proceed.

7. Password Updated:

If all the information is correct, you will see a confirmation message that your password has been updated successfully.

Solution: Double-check the current password you’ve entered. Make sure there are no typos, and remember that passwords are case-sensitive. If you’ve forgotten your current password, click "Forgot Password?" to reset it via your email. Error: "New passwords do not match." Solution: Ensure that the new password and the confirmation password are identical. Retype both fields carefully. Error: "New password does not meet the requirements." Solution: Ensure your new password meets the minimum security criteria (8 characters, one uppercase, one lowercase, one number or symbol). Adjust the password accordingly and try again.
